NEXTGEN KNIVES

TAKING A BREAK

Thank you from all of us

A truly heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported NextGen over the past few years. I started making knives in 2014 with the best of intentions - because I love food and wanted to make the process of preparing it more fun. Developing the San Sebastian was an amazing learning experience. My team and I sought to challenge every assumption we held about chef's knives and thoughtfully improve every aspect we could using materials science and creative thinking. Whether it was incorporating new steels into the blade, testing alternative geometries or developing customizable grips, I am incredibly proud of the knives we made and the risks you helped us take. With that said, new challenges and adventures await. As such, NextGen will be hibernating for the foreseeable future. If you would like to obtain your own San Sebastian, we have limited residual inventory available. Please contact us. Likewise, if you are interested in food-related research and development and feel that our expertise would be relevant please don't hesitate to reach out and inquire. We wish you many more years of enjoyment from your San Sebastian. Best,

- Jeremy and the entire NextGen team.
